This is the major international airport with the following international airlines:

From the airport to Tainan:
(i) Take shuttle bus (NTD 30) or taxi (about NTD 400, to show the card 1 ) to Taiwan High Speed Rail - Taoyuan Station.
(ii) Take Taiwan High Speed Rail from Taoyuan Station to Tainan Station.
(iii) Take Taiwan Railway Train (within THSR Tainan Station) to Taiwan Railway Tainan Station (NTD 25) or take taxi to the Shangri-la Hotel (NTD300~NTD400, to show the card 2 )
Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH)：
This is the nearest international airport to Tainan. This airport serves mainly some cities in Asia.http://www.kia.gov.tw/english/e_content/e_introduce-5-1.asp
From the airport to Tainan:
(i) Take taxi from airport to the Hotel (about NTD1500, , to show the card 2 )
(ii) Take Kaohsiung Metro (red line) from Kaohsiung International Airport to Kaohsiung Main Station (NT$ 50) , and then take to Taiwan Railways from Kaohsiung Station to Tainan Station (About NTD 70-100) and then exit from the rear station. Shangri-la Hotel is across street from the rear station.
